“A taste is never enough…”

In Psalm 34 verse 8, David makes an incredible statement. God has just delivered him from the hands of his enemy when he says “Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!” This is an amazing statement but an even more amazing truth. David is imploring us, he is desperately asking us to taste and see that the Lord is good. God desires to know us on an intimately personal level. But the real question is...do we desire to know Him on a personal level? If that answer is yes, then I too echo David’s plea. Step out in faith, taste and see the goodness of God. What you will find is that God is not only good, He is better than everything else you have ever experienced and a taste is just not enough. Trust Him!
