More than a seeker!

Throughout scripture we are called to seek the Lord; to really seek His face. We are called to ask, seek, and knock (Matthew 7:7) and to search Him out with our whole heart (Jeremiah 29:13). But, there are times that we just don’t feel like we have the time or energy to put forth such an effort to seek. It is easier to sit in a chair and listen to a message on Sunday’s, or turn on the radio during the week and listen to a sermon. It is easier to have someone else do the seeking and let them tell us all about it. However, this type of vicarious Christianity is not what the Lord had in mind. In fact, the Lord Jesus has called each of us into a personal, one-on-one relationship with Him. That is amazing! The Lord wants to meet personally with us. I challenge you to seek His face and be astonished at what you find this week.
